Detailed travel health guide via email for your destination. This will give you a detailed explanation of health alerts in the area, vaccinations required, malaria status, medical insurance advice and location specific alerts. (eg extreme weather, strikes by airlines etc)
Appointments can be made for working hours, after hours and weekends – subject to doctor availability. After filling out a patient information form, Dr Docrat will ascertain what vaccinations, certificates and information will be required for your consultation so you are protected on your journey.
Vaccinations include immunisations for:
- Influenza
- Hepatitis A/B
- Typhoid
- Measles
- Rabies
- Tetanus
- Poliomyelitis
- Diphtheria
- Acellular pertussis
- Meningitis
- Yellow Fever
- Cholera
- Pneumonia
All relevant vaccination cards and certificates are provided. This includes a yellow fever card when you take yellow fever vaccine or a yellow fever waiver letter if you are unable to take the vaccine and are traveling to an area where it is a requirement/recommended.
Information on water/food safety as well as bite prevention will be given.
Advice of first aid and medical kits will also be offered
Post travel consultations can also be arranged should you so require.
